Salinas Recognized for Lifetime Achievement and Leadership Excellence in the Maritime Industry
|  | At the 10th Asia-Pacific Manning and Training Conference held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza on November 4, 2009, Mr. Carlos C. Salinas was honored with the Lifetime Achievement and Leadership Excellence Award.
The Asia Pacific | Manning and Training Conference is an annual convention organized by the UK-based Lloyd’s Ship Manager and attended by over 400 maritime executives worldwide – shipowners, ship operators, crew managers, training institutions, maritime associations, government, seafarer and trade union representatives, and P&I claims managers.
Mr. Tony Mason, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and the International Shipping Federation (ISF) presented the award and gave a resounding testimony of Salinas’s illustrious career. |
