As a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training, Inc. (PHILCAMSAT) to deliver world-class training programs designed to enhance the global competitiveness of Filipino seafarers, the Center has once again received its accreditation from the industry’s most prestigious certifying bodies following audits conducted over the last two months.
The Center’s Quality Management System was audited by DNV-GL last November 26 to 27 and received ISO 9001:2015 recertification after receiving “Zero Non-Conformity” from the auditing firm.
PHILCAMSAT was recommended for reaccreditation by the United Kingdom Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) for its Management Level Program Course on Human Element Leadership and Management (HELM) following an audit conducted from December 3 to 4.
Last December 5 to 6, theCenter passed the audit conducted by the Offshore Petroleum Industry TrainingOrganization (OPITO) of its offshore survival training courses. While theCenter’s STCW Courses have likewise received reaccreditation from theprestigious Belgian Maritime Inspectorate (BMI).
