PTC’s Family and Crew Relations (FCR) team brought early holiday cheer to the families of PTC Global Maritime Professionals (GMP) with a special Thanksgiving celebration held on November 29 at First Maritime Place. The event, themed “Seas of Smiles, Waves of Thanks,” gathered over 60 attendees—including 30 children—who came together to enjoy a memorable afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit.

Adding to the colorful atmosphere, the children of PTC GMPs arrived dressed as their favorite animated characters, bringing the venue to life with their vibrant costumes. They enthusiastically joined games and fun activities prepared by the FCR team, creating heartwarming moments shared by families from various PTC principals, including Komaya, MSC Cargo, Eletson, Berge Bulk, ESL, Excelerate, Hydroussa, and Wallenius Marine.

In the spirit of giving, the celebration also featured a meaningful toy donation initiative. The children donated toys and school supplies, which will be distributed to young beneficiaries from communities affected by recent calamities in the Philippines. This effort will be carried out in partnership with the PTC RSE Foundation, extending the joy of the season to those who need it most.

The Thanksgiving gathering not only strengthened connections among PTC GMP families but also highlighted the values of generosity, gratitude, and unity—hallmarks of the PTC community during the holiday season.
