Panamanian Ambassador and Consul General H.E. Eduardo Young Virzi recently visited the offices of Jebsen PTC Maritime, Inc. (JPMI) and the PTC Group Head Office as part of his courtesy visit. He was warmly welcomed at the JPMI Head Office by Thess Lunzaga, Vice President for Crewing - JPMI and Melissa Espiritu, Flag Processing Assistant Manager. At the PTC Head Office, he was received by Ambassador Carlos Salinas, PTC Founder; Gerardo Borromeo, PTC CEO; Beng Cristobal, COO Shipping; and Capt. Pol Haboc, Head of PHILCAMSAT and the MAST.

During the visit, discussions centered on the strong maritime partnership between Panama and the Philippines, particularly in trade and seafaring. As the incoming Resident Ambassador of Panama to the Philippines, Ambassador Virzi outlined his priorities for his term, highlighting his commitment to further strengthening maritime ties between the two nations.

The meeting also covered updates on Panama Maritime Authority regulations and services, along with new initiatives aimed at enhancing the maritime sector. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to supporting programs that benefit seafarers and foster continued collaboration between Panama and the Philippines.
