Jebsen PTC supports safety culture by participating in Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

JUNE 24, 2025

Jebsen PTC recently participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for the second quarter, demonstrating the company’s commitment to workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

The NSED, which is held quarterly, serves as a coordinated effort to strengthen disaster resilience by ensuring that individuals and organizations are equipped to respond effectively during an earthquake.

During the drill on June 19, employees, visitors, and Global Maritime Professionals from both the Emmanuel and Pilgrim buildings participated in the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure, followed by an evacuation. The evacuation was coordinated by the Emergency Response Team Leader, Capt. Joseph Vitalista.

Conducting regular drills like the NSED is vital in ensuring that safety protocols are not only understood but also practiced instinctively.

Jebsen-PTC remains committed to the safety and well-being of everyone in our work environment. As such, we will continue to support and prioritize initiatives that foster emergency preparedness.
