Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTC), through its Talent Acquisition Group (TAG), proudly took part in the Trece Martires City Mega Job Fair held last May 30, 2025, at the SM City Trece Martires. Organized by the local Public Employment Services Office (PESO), the event gathered thousands of job seekers from across Cavite and nearby provinces. Among the many participating companies, PTC stood out as the sole provider of both sea-based and land-based employment opportunities, drawing keen interest from close to 1,000 job seekers eager to embark on global careers.

PTC's strong presence was powered by a team of dedicated representatives from the Recruitment and Training Department (RTD), headed by Antonio Reginaldo, Recruitment and Training Manager, and Madeline de la Chica, HR Associate, Shipping Cluster Human Resources Department, supported by the Talent Acquisition Group (TAG). They introduced attendees to the full scope of career paths across PTC's integrated maritime ecosystem-from sea-based jobs and shore-based roles.

More than just recruiting, PTC's participation reflected its mission to evaluate the global competitiveness of the Filipino seafarer. Conversations with job seekers emphasized the company's commitment to industry-leading training programs and career mobility anchored on the values of excellence, resilience, and service at sea and ashore.

Some applicants were selected and hired on the spot by the RTD team, while prescreened applicants will be called for an interview by the HR Shipping cluster team. "We at the PESO office of Trece are happy to invite companies that will give Treceños and those around Cavite job opportunities. I hope to invite PTC again as we do this activity monthly," said Chinglee Velasco, PESO Trece Martires Manager
