PTC-CSJ congratulates NFS-Batch 3 Scholar Michelle Belling as one of TOMSP 2025 Awardees
OCTOBER 3, 2025

The PTC-CSJ Foundation and the PTC Group are happy and proud to congratulate Michelle Belling as one of the Ten Outstanding Maritime Students of the Philippines (TOMSP) for 2025.
The TOMSP honors “remarkable young leaders who embody the values of competence, character, and commitment to the maritime profession. Their achievements in leadership, academic performance, community service, and maritime innovation highlight the talent and dedication of the next generation of seafarers.”
As Michelle said, “This recognition is a testament to the strong foundation I gained from Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna, PTC, and PTC-CSJ Foundation, and I am honored to be the first female TOMSP from Mapua MCL. TOMSP was more than a competition. It was a journey of growth and transformation that changed the way I see life and leadership. I did not just bring home a title. I brought home a renewed character that is stronger, brighter, and more compassionate.”
Additionally, Michelle’s “Laguna Lake Plastic to Bricks Project” received the special award for the best project proposal.
Michelle is one of PTC-CSJ’s ten scholars at Mapua MCL under the Nurturing Future Seafarers (NFS) – Batch 3 Project supported by a grant from Orange County Community Foundation through the TK Foundation Fund.
